We are pleased to announce that the upgrade to Highfield Road Playpark is now complete and the park has been re-opened.
It is already proving to be a great asset for the area providing a safe, fun, and welcoming space for children to play and for the community to connect.
We would also like to say a special thank you to local children and pupils from the neighbouring primary school, whose ideas and feedback played an important role in shaping the playpark during the application process.
This project has been made possible thanks to the generous support of EB Scotland and FCC Communities Foundation who award community grants the the Scottish Landfill Communities Fund. We are grateful for their funding which has helped bring this much-needed facility back to life and improving local community spaces.
We hope the playpark will be enjoyed for many years to come!
